Matt was voted in as the Lead Pastor of Faith Church in June 2023, transitioning from his role as the Pastor of Small Groups and Worship. Though Matt has been on staff since 2015, he has been a part of Faith since 1989 when his dad took the assignment as Lead Pastor. Growing up at Faith under his dad's leadership, Matt saw the church grow from being a small inward-focused group of people, into an outward-focused congregation whose heart is to bring the good news of Jesus to the surrounding community. As he looks to the future, he's excited to see God continue to transform New England, one of the most unchurched regions of America.
Matt's passions include communicating God's Word in an authentic and relevant way, leading people into Jesus' presence through music, and helping people to live in their full identity as a child of God. He has a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Seminary and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Houghton University. He and his wife, Kendyl, have been married since 2012 and they have two beautiful daughters: Ferryn and Karis. If not in the office, you may find him at a local coffee shop, disc golfing, hiking or skiing. He also loves Mexican food and despises the Hallmark channel.

Faith Groups Admin Assistant
My name is Heather. I am married to Robert. Our "children" include two adult daughters and their husbands, our adult son and his fiance, two granddaughters, a grandson, three cats, and a dog. I am a retired elementary teacher. Now, I spend my days working for a computational scientific software company. I enjoy spending time cooking plant-based meals, swimming, and hiking. Small Group ministry has been a part of my life since our marriage. I was fortunate to have people pour into my life as a young adult Christian to challenge me and encourage me to grow in my walk with Jesus. It is an honor to try to do the same for those God has placed in my life.
