Doug and Joanne have been married since 1984 and have raised three kids: Matt, Jonny, and Caroline. Pastoring Faith since 1989, Doug has devoted himself to making an impact in the community of Central Massachusetts by leading the church to live out the words of Jesus in the heart of New England. He has a passion to teach the Scriptures and to encourage people to place their faith in Jesus.
Prior to becoming the Senior Pastor of Faith, Doug graduated from Houghton College in Western, NY and then went on to get his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. When he’s not in the office, he’s either swinging clubs on the golf course or building something out of wood. His wife, Joanne, teaches music in Southborough and is part of the music team at Faith.
Matt is the Associate Pastor of Faith Church, overseeing Small Groups and the Worship Ministry. He’s been a part of Faith since 1989, and he officially came on staff in 2015. Matt’s passions include leading people in worship of Jesus, preaching for life change, discipling men and women through small groups, creating quality videos that display the glory of God, and helping people to discover whom God has created them to be.
Matt has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Houghton College and a Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Seminary. He and his wife, Kendyl, have been married since 2012 and they have two beautiful girls: Ferryn and Karis. When not in the office, Matt is usually at a local coffee shop reading a book or listening to music.
Associate Pastor of Small Groups and Worship
Patricia Lake is the Pastor of Children’s Ministries. An Early Childhood Music Specialist, Patti holds certifications in Music Together, Musikgarten, and Orff pedagogies. She studied Music Education and Performance at UMass Lowell and Early Childhood Education at Eastern Nazarene College. She absolutely loves to direct children’s theatre and is a VBS junkie!
Patti is also a trainer and seminar presenter for the Baptist Convention of New England VBS Training Team and a Ministry Multiplier. Pastor Patti lives in Shrewsbury with her beloved Mr. Brian. They have been blessed with three grown children and four grandchildren affectionately known as the “Grand-Chickens”.
Pastor of Children's Ministries
Sam was hired in 2015 as the Pastor of Student Ministries. He graduated from Worcester State University and is currently working on his Master of Divinity. Sam’s passion is to see teenagers grow their faith in Jesus and live that out in their schools. Prior to working at Faith, Sam worked with college students for five years with Campus Ambassadors. Sam met his wife, Kelleigh, through the ministry of Campus Ambassadors have been married since 2013
Sam is also an experienced photographer and graphic design artist. In his time off, Sam is probably playing basketball or Settlers of Catan. Sam lives with his wife Kelleigh and two children, Leigha and Alexander in Spencer, MA.
Pastor of Student Ministries
Rebecca and her family joined Faith Church in 2013. She has been married to her husband, Brad, since 2005 and they live in Auburn with their three little girls, Lily, Abby, and Olivia and a rascally Boston Terrier named Reggie. She graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2004 with a degree in History. She has been actively involved in many volunteer roles at Faith Church and has enjoyed meeting many guests and regular attenders through the years. Her favorite event at the church is The Great Christmas Giveaway, an event serving families in need in Greater Worcester and providing Christmas gifts and an inclusive holiday experience for their children.
When she is not shuttling her daughters to soccer, dance, and art classes, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors, whether it be walking through town or down the beach.
Social Media Manager
Matt has been with Faith Church for 6 Years. He grew up going to the Youth Ministry at Faith Church and now is serving as the Social Media Manager. When he is no playing with his awesome hair, he enjoys exploring new food, music. He would also want you to know that his fantasy football team is better than yours. Matt hosts a podcast called "MATTLIKE" that features guest sharing about the things they like in their lives. Having a passion for people won't allow him to stop talking so we like to keep him busy. Matt wants to be like Pastor Sam when he grows up.
