DEAR FRIENDS & FAMILY OF FAITH CHURCH,

As the lead pastor, I want to say how truly thankful I am for your participation in and prayer for our church. Since arriving here in 1989, I have watched Faith grow from a small but devoted group of Christ-followers to what it is today - an active church with a strong presence in the community for Jesus Christ. We believe that God has uniquely positioned us here in Central Massachusetts to be a faithful witness that strives to “love and lead people into a growing faith in Jesus”.

 

From the very beginning, Faith Church has sought to be a church for the unchurched where people far from God can come and discover the good news of Jesus. While most churches tend to be known more for what they’re against, we want to be a church known for who we’re for. We are for the community and the family. We are for the 508. Our heartbeat is to change the community’s perception of the church - to reach them with the love of Jesus, because a church that is fueled by the love of Jesus is irresistible and unstoppable.

 

I am blown away when I think about the way in which this church has impacted the community over the past 30 years, and I’m passionate to see a legacy left for the next 30 years and beyond. That is why, with great conviction and hope, I put before you this vision of Making Room. It is no small task, but I truly believe that God is leading us to relocate in order to Make Room to love and lead more people into a growing faith in Jesus.

 

I know you feel it. The parking lot is full. The nursery is full. The lobby is full. We’ve simply run out of room to reach more people with the gospel. The time is NOW. If we want people to Make Room in their hearts for the church then we have to Make Room in our church for their hearts! I believe that God is directing us to build a new structure on a new piece of land so that we can Make Room for those He is calling us to reach.

 

This May, you will be hearing more specifics about this Phase 1 building program. I believe that it is time to build for the years ahead - Making Room for faith, for family, for 508. I ask that you prayerfully consider how God may be leading and prompting you in this endeavor. We need many friends to generously invest in this with us. Please seek God’s leading on how He would have you engage with us.
